What to Bring
Need-to-Know Info for
Fall NYM 7th and 8th Grade Retreat, November 11-13, 2011
Time: 7:00 pm on Friday until Noon on Sunday
What to Bring:
- Warm clothes for being outdoors
- A flashlight for flashlight tag and stepping over sleeping bodies in the dark
- Pillow
- Sleeping Bag, Mats and/or Blankets
(we’ll be sleeping on the carpeted floor, so bring a good mat!)
- PJs
- Bathroom essentials (toothbrush, toothpaste, etc.)
- Favorite games and/or music to share
- A musical instrument
- YOUR MEDICAL RELEASE FORM
Note: Cell phones and
iPods and other personal electronic devices will be kept in a safe
central spot by the Friendly Adult Presences (FAPs). They will be available to you when you need
them. Use of these devices on a regular basis throughout the day
distracts from group activities, so it is best if they are not used on a
regular basis throughout the weekend.
Please do not bring any personal DVDs. Why spend time watching movies when there are so many great things to do and great people to do them with?
