New Friends and New Beginnings



Friday, March 27
8:00 to 10:00 p.m. Arrive at Minneapolis Friends Meeting House sometime after 8, settle in, meet everyone, play games.
Saturday, March 28
9:00 am New Games, Service Project for Homeless, Friendly Bible Study - What Would You Do?
12:00 Noon Picnic Lunch, Deliver Meals to Homeless Shelter
1:00 pm The Amazing Quaker Race
3:00 pm Shop, bake, prepare dinner.
6:00 pm Out trip to Rock Climbing. Alternative activity: Park in the Dark (bring your flashlight for flashlight tag)
9:00 pm Back to Minneapolis Meetinghouse for indoor games and talent sharing
Sunday, March 29
8:00 am Pancake Breakfast
9:30 am Worship Sharing Activity
11:00 am Meeting for Worship with Minneapolis Monthly Meeting
12:00 am Good-byes


All 5th and 6th graders are invited to attend this NYM Retreat at Minneapolis Meetinghouse. 7th and 8th graders will also be sharing the space for their own retreat. Each group will have their own activities, with some shared activities like meals. 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th will be having a retreat on the same weekend in the Twin Cities.
